warning: dont read unless you have read both books and seen both movies

ok, so i saw new moon last nite with my best friend megan. i was quite impressed all in all. i found tht chris weitz followed the story line pretty closely. the emotional aspect of the "capturing" of the story started on a high level wen bella awoke in the dream bou being lik her grandmother an still being with edward. i felt robert pattinson acted the way he should hav acted in the first film twilight; quiet, graceful, and over all an actual vampire...not just random out bursts of personality. bella...i have to give kirsten stewart 2 thumbs up for her performance in this one. she ACTUALLY showed emotion, and really expressed it wen bella's character aquired it. she didnt need 2 do much on the depression part considering tht bella is pretty much emotionally dead in the book.

ive so far have seen variations on the reaction to the public about this movie. some enthusiastic an giving kudos, others downrite rude an not appriciative. what i think most are not seeing is the over all book an feeling throughout it. iv seen things lik : " this is horrible" theyv ruined it for all of us" "the acting was disgraceful to the dramatics world". people rnt seeing the the characters in the themselves.

bella is a generally plain character...she dosent show much emotion as it is, the books are set in her perception. she has no other plans in her life about where she wants to go in it until she meeets edward an decides she dosent want anything else. yes, she does give girls a bad example. a girl is not supposed to be defined by wat man she is with...that is her only real life issue her character implies. bellas only other problems are psychological, and can only be voice through th words in the book. applying them cinimagraphcally is difficult considering the hallucinations she gets about edward which were merely in her head. it would have been excruciatingly annoying an boring if she only heard his voice. you have to get creative in thes aspects or else your left with a downright plain quality. desides the fact tht the twilight series in itself is a best selling movie/book.

im not going into ANYTHING about robert cuz i approve of his acting an portrayl of edward cullen in new moon.

now, the acting. what did you expect, seriously? i had my own aspiration about who i believe wuld have been better for each part, but of course they dont go by the fan bases choice. when i say they, i mean the movie companies and directors. these people were chosen for the parts based on catherine harwickes idea about thier audition....i saw chemistry with edward and bella....bella and jacob....bella's depression was preformed really well.

i beg to differ, dramatics has its own quality...anything involving cinma is completely different. dramatics is about expression and your own view about each character....twilights/ new moons characters are pretty much set in stone. ther personalities are cut an dry...ther is noting tht a directer can change about them...as much as i want to repeat tht last line...im going to refrain from it. everytime a book has to be made in2 a movie, it has to be colaborated and improvised to fit enough of the story and not be disfigured in the process; allowing viewers to be happy along the way. twilight i agree was really bad. bella was portrayed horribly...edward...well he was ok...but his preception was maybe lik ten degrees off base with the character's point of view being determined. the filming quality sucked greatly! documentry style is pretty bad wen its applied to a young adult novel..trying to make it seem more grown.

jacob black. may i say GORGEOUS? yes indeeeeed! if you are a major fan of the series, and you have your favorties....let me jus say that were not a fanatic about the person playing them besides the fact that they may be totally sexy...i have heard "obsessed over the zombies" as the description of this tiny crutial fact. if your one of those people who have become attached to the books and movies in one way or another, where not attracted to the just the person playing the part. its not the person, but who they are. jacob is a wonderfuly delightful character with many depths...i appriciate him for being what i find in my friends everyday. loving, never giving up on me, and just plain being there for me.

shall i conclude this fantastic rant of mine? for now i will, but if the opertunity reveals itself for more of my loud mouth, then i will continue with more opinions haha. but i jus hav 2 say tht new moon was a major improvement over all compared to twilight. everything was 2 steps up from where twas started. please leave a comment! i kno im gonna get a whole bunch of shit for writing this, but i really dont care cuz this a pure opinion

p.s.i must agree with megan the Jasper Cullen is a sex god !
